July has proven to be a magical time to vacation in and around Tulum. The beaches are nearly empty, hotel rates have dropped, the Caribbean Sea is warm and there are no crowds at the famous archeological sites!  We have had the pleasure of hosting many more families on tour this month than couples and solo travelers and it has been an absolute blast seeing kids and adults explore the Coba Ruins together for the first time.

Our Coba Ruins tour is the ideal choice for active adults and families interested in seeing and doing a little bit of everything without spending an entire day in the car to do so.  Many people  inquire about visiting Chichen-Itza while on vacation in Tulum without realizing that they will spend at least 4 hours roundtrip in the car to get there.  Coba is located only 45 minutes west of Tulum and allows guests the chance to ride mountain bikes through the sacbes (white raised roads), walk inside the temples, climb the 120 steep steps of  Nohoc-Mul pyramid and jump 30 feet into the cool water of cenote Tamcach-Ha.  This month a bunch of our fearless guests decided to show off their handstand and headstand skills on top of  Coba’s famous pyramid!
