Mayan Jungle Experience!
This tour takes place on a gorgeous private piece of land in the jungle called Tankah
The jungle of Tankah is located just 10 minutes outside of Tulum and it is a self-sustained community of over 42 Mayan families who live and work on the land. The tour offers 3 zip lines running across a fresh water lagoon, canoeing, cenote cliff jumping and lunch.
The tour begins with the zip lining course flying through the jungle canopy and over the beautiful fresh water lagoon below.
The final leg of the zip line brings guests to the canoes on the bank of the lagoon. After canoeing through the channels of the lagoon, guests will jump into Tankah’s cenote swimming hole.
The visit to Tankah wouldn’t be complete without a homemade Mayan feast made with hand pounded corn tortillas and traditional dishes like chicken pibil in clay pots.
Following lunch, guests can relax in the hammock lounge before heading home.
The Mayan Jungle Experience Tour is available Tuesdays and Fridays and departs from our Tulum office location at 9am and comes back at 1pm
